Compare the energy price on your Alberta electricity or gas bill with today's default rate and the fixed prices published in your town.

Where is this on my bill?

Look for the line called Energy charge. Use the price for each unit, not the total charge. For power, enter cents per kWh. For gas, enter dollars per GJ.

For example, an electricity price of $0.095 per kWh is 9.5 cents per kWh.

Today's default rates: electricity and natural gas.
